Resident
Artists (RA) are actors who are hired to perform O'Neill's
plays and new work they inspire in our annual O'Neill Festival. The
Festival is held at the NYU Provincetown Playhouse. O'Neill launched
his New York career in 1916 at the Playhouse, then named The
Playwrights Theater.
To
date, RA have been Yale alumni who have supported Tony Award honorees
such Philip Bosco, Zoe Caldwell, Ruby Dee, Kathleen Chalfant, Charles
Durning, Peter Gallagher, Julie Harris, Alison Janney, Brian Murray,
Phyllis Newman, Al Pacino, Marian Seldes, Harris Yulin and Frank Wood.
