JIMMY TOMORROW is Stephen Kennedy Murphy's musical adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s 1916 only short story, TOMORROW, on which O'Neill would later base THE ICEMAN COMETH.

JIMMY TOMORROW, which recently premiered at The Players Club on Gramercy Park,  follows the title character’s efforts at reformation as he seeks to make a comeback from the lush life in which he has long marinated to the brilliant career as a journalist that has always been his pipe dream.

Murphy performs the text, which was taken directly from the O’Neill story, and ragtime-style  songs he has written to shed comic light on one of O’Neill’s most lovable losers, the usually pickled Scotsman.   For audio excerptsExternal link opens in new tab or window CLICK HERE
